If you’re a college or high school student who’s interested in investing in people through Christian camping, then Camp Judson would love to hear from you! A job at Camp Judson gives you the chance to serve others and make a difference in the lives of children, teens and adults who attend our youth, family and adult camps throughout the summer.
We’re not only committed to helping you develop valuable leadership skills while you’re here, but we also want to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. One evening a week, staff meet for a Bible study. It’s a great opportunity to study God’s word with your peers, reconnect and just have fun after a busy week. The people you work with at camp could become lifelong friends!
There’s plenty to do around here when you’re not working. The beautiful grounds of Camp Judson cover 160 acres of mountain terrain that border the Black Hills National Forest. Several hiking trails lead out of camp to such popular places as Mount Rushmore, Mount Baldy and Horsethief Lake. There’s also canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing.
Salaries for the summer staff positions range from $280/week to $325/week for 16-year-olds and up and from $310 to $375 for 18-year-olds and up, in addition to a $25/week bonus upon completion of work agreement. Housing, meals, limited medical insurance and partial mileage to and from camp are also provided.
